NOTE
This website has received a question regarding the fireworks display on July 4, 2009.
It appears that there was a "glitch" during the firing of the fireworks.
The following is an answer from the Fireworks Committee:
"There was a short circuit in the electrical panel.
We are waiting to hear more information in the next day or so.
We understand that this is disappointing,
but this was in NO way the fault of the Fireworks Committee.
It was a problem with Night Magic Fireworks Display."
"The Fireworks display had a major electrical panel malfunction.
They tried to repair it and were unable.
The Fireworks Committee has been swamped with some very rude comments regarding the fireworks display.
The quality was no ones fault and people need to ask questions before criticizing.
Because of the lack of volunteers there is a good chance that there will not be a 2010 display.
The Fireworks Committee (5 individuals) have spent countless volunteer hours to provide the display."
